Retired...Now What

Thinking on a bench

Ah, retirement—you’ve anticipated this life stage for years, but now that it’s finally here, you’re not quite sure what to do with it.

The "Retired...Now What?" program is here to help.

About the Program

The City of Brownsville Parks and Recreation Department Retired...Now What program is designed to meet the needs of today's active 50+ community.

All the actives are fun, safe, and easy for any level.

The cost to register and participate is free, and you decide on which activities you want to participate in.

The program always meets at the Rec Center, the rec center is located at 1338 E. 8th Street.

Retired...Now what is your place and your time.  It is a safe place to enjoy life, learn how to do the things you always dreamed you could do, and make friends.

Fitness, health, games, arts and crafts workshops, and social activities—we are here for you!
