The Brownsville Public Library System hosts two Teen Book Clubs, one at each branch, for teens ages 13-19. The purpose of the book clubs is to promote literacy among teens in our community. Each book club meets once a month to discuss the current "Teen Pick". The discussions are informal with the focal point centering on the likes and dislikes teens found within the selection being talked about. The Teen Book Club at the Main Branch Library meets the 2nd Saturday of the month at 1:00 pm in the Meeting Room. The Teen Book Club at the Southmost Branch Library meets the 3rd Saturday of the month at 2:30 pm in the Multi-purpose Room.
