Artisan Vendor Information & FAQs:
Artisan Vendor reservations are available on a first come first serve basis. The fee to reserve an artisan spot is $15.
All vendors are responsible for their own equipment and set up.
The Lunada Artisan Market strives to provide a place where local artisanal products are sold. We want to encourage local business and community.
Question: What is an Artisan?
Answer: Artisans are persons who craft with their own hands the products they offer for sale at the Market. To qualify as an artisan, a majority of the tools and equipment used by the crafter to produce the products must require skills, personal handling, and/or guidance by the crafter.
Question: I sell prepacked foods, do I register as a Food vendor or Artisan Vendor?
Answer: Anyone who sells any consumables items at Lunadas require a permit. Vendors may only sell approved source items, meaning they need to be commercially prepackaged. If they are not, then said food items need to be prepared on-site from their raw state, to its cooked/prepped state. Permits are $25 per vendor per day.
Question: My craft is photography and drawing, can I set up a vendor booth where I sell portraits? Can I set up a photo booth?
Answer: Absolutely! Apply as a vendor and list the services/products you will be selling.
Question: I am a non profit organization. I want to share pass out free information, do I still have to pay even if I'm not going to sell anything?
Answer: ALL Spaces at Lunada will only be reserved to PAYING applicants. There are No FREE Spaces at the Lunada Artisan Market. The online registration site: COB.RECDESK.COM will feature a NON VENDOR category. Please register under that category. The fee will be $15 and spaces in that category will be limited and subject to rotation based on public interest.
Question: If the event is canceled , will I get a refund?
Vendor fee is Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable. Lunada Events are Rain or Shine events. They will not be canceled...but in case the event must be altered for reasons out of organizer’s control (i.e. weather, government imposed regulations, viruses and pandemics, etc.), event will be rescheduled and the new date/time will be announced to all registered vendors in the event. Refunds will not be accepted due to already inquired expenses on organizer’s behalf as advertising and promotion, permits and licenses, venue rental fees, etc.
