The Lunada Artisan Market strives to provide a place where local artisanal products are sold. We want to encourage local business and community.
Question: What is an Artisan?
Answer: Artisans are persons who craft with their own hands the products they offer for sale at the Market. To qualify as an artisan, a majority of the tools and equipment used by the crafter to produce the products must require skills, personal handling, and/or guidance by the crafter.
Question: I sell prepacked foods, do I register as a Food vendor or Artisan Vendor?
Answer: Anyone who sells any consumables items at Lunadas require a permit. Vendors may only sell approved source items, meaning they need to be commercially prepackaged. If they are not, then said food items need to be prepared on-site from their raw state, to its cooked/prepped state. Permits are $25 per vendor per day.
Question: My craft is photography and drawing, can I set up a vendor booth where I sell portraits? Can I set up a photo booth?
Answer: Absolutely! Apply as a vendor and list the services/products you will be selling.
Question: I am a non profit organization. I want to share pass out free information, do I still have to pay even if I'm not going to sell anything?
