Drainage

The Department is in charge of the maintenance of City owned canals, ditches, inlets, detention ponds and stormceptors. This year, the division maintained 6.52 miles of drainage ditches and canals in addition to continue a rotation schedule of inlet cleaning all around the City. Providing the proper maintenance and repair to all of our City’s stormwater drainage systems, using heavy equipment and hard labor, we get closer to achieving our goal of improvement and reduction of localized flooding.
