PUBLIC NOTICE AND REQUEST FOR COMMENTS
CITY OF BROWNSVILLE 2021
CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE
AND EVALUATION REPORT (CAPER) - 15-DAY COMMENT PERIOD
Notice is hereby given that the City of Brownsville 2021 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) will be made available for citizen review and comment on Monday, December 05, 2022 – Tuesday, December 20, 2022. The CAPER can be accessed at https://www.brownsvilletx.gov/2300/CAPER . The CAPER will also be available at the Office of Strategic Initiatives (OSI) located at 1150 E. Adams Street, (El Tapiz- 3rd Floor), the Brownsville Public Library located at 2600 Central Blvd., the Brownsville Southmost Public Library located at 4320 Southmost Road, the Housing Authority of the City of Brownsville located at 24 Elm Street, the Southmost Community Network Center- Police Department located at 2900 Southmost Road, the City of Brownsville Department of the City Secretary (City Plaza-1st Floor) located at 1034 E. Levee Street, and the West Side Police Substation located at 1763 Highway 281.
The CAPER is a document that contains a summary of resources and accomplishments of the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG), Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG). Comments may be submitted in writing to the Office of Strategic Initiatives (OSI) by December 20, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. The OSI will conduct a public hearing on December 14, 2022 at 6:00 p.m., to give citizens an opportunity to comment on the accomplishments and performance. The public hearing will be held at the Brownsville Southmost Branch Public Library located at 4320 Southmost Road, Brownsville, TX 78521.
The City of Brownsville will submit its Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the program year 2021-2022 at the San Antonio Field Office of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on or about December 29, 2022. Aviso Público que el Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) 2021 de la ciudad de Brownsville estará disponible a la ciudadanía para su revisión a partir del lunes 05 de diciembre del 2022 al martes 20 de diciembre del 2022 en la página web de la Oficina de Iniciativas Estratégicas https://www.brownsvilletx.gov/2300/CAPER. El reporte CAPER también estará disponible en la Oficina de Iniciativas Estratégicas ubicada en 1150 E. Adams, (Edificio El Tapiz, 3º Piso); la Biblioteca Pública, ubicada en 2600 Central Blvd.; la Biblioteca Pública Southmost, ubicada en 4320 Southmost Rd.; Housing Authority of the City of Brownsville, situada en 24 Elm Street; la Estación de Policía-Southmost Community Network Center, ubicada en 2900 Southmost Road; la Ciudad de Brownsville City Secretary's Office (Edificio City Plaza, 1er Piso), ubicada en 1034 E. El reporte CAPER es un documento que contiene un resumen de los recursos y logros del Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG), Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), y el Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG). Los comentarios podrán ser presentados por escrito a la Oficina de Iniciativas Estratégicas antes de las 5:00 pm del 20 de diciembre del 2022. La ciudad de Brownsville entregará el Reporte Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) del año de programa 2021-2022 a la oficina de campo en San Antonio del U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development alrededor del 29 de diciembre del 2022.
