3D Printing Resources 

Due to lower production and development costs every year, 3D printers are becoming more affordable and user friendly allowing the average person to create and print their own 3D models from simple toys and jewelry to more sophisticated projects. Entrepreneurs have even used 3D printing to market and sell their own creations to the general public. In regards to education, individuals also benefit by learning the design processes involved in creating their 3D model, including aspects of architecture, graphic design, and engineering.

    • One of the first free browser-based 3d modeling programs specifically made for 3D design.
       Great for those who are new to 3D design.

      Feel free to find something you like to get printed and send it to us to see your digital file come to life.

  • An online, browser-based, 3D modeling program. Great for those at the intermediate level of 3D design/modeling 

  •  A great resource to get started with sculpting. This virtual sculpting software program has a primary focus on the concept of modeling clay. 

  • An industry standard 3D modeling program used by AAA studios and the like. This program is for pros who need all the extra feature to help your thoughts come to life. Some prep work is necessary to properly convert your files into 3D printing.

  • Free 3D modeling software that lets you create and export your own 3d models for printing purposes. The software is geared more towards CAD aspects rather than an artistic program. Meaning you will need to know the exact dimensions for each extrusion and cut when creating your designs.  

  • A cloud-based CAD system that is perfect for agile product design. Multiple persons can work on one design at the same time. So, if you and your friends want to create an object feel free to use this resource.
