Everyone is invited to the annual Dean Porter Park Pumpkin Patch from October  21-31.  This is a special time of year where folks can enjoy a stroll along the scarecrow trail, engage in photo opportunities, shop for pumpkins and enjoy time with friends and family in a safe park setting.

Find and purchase the perfect pumpkin to take home and carve or make into a pumpkin pie. 

You may visit the pumpkin patch at the following hours of operation:

Note:  Saturday October 28 is Park After Dark event--gates will be closed (as staff and volunteers set up for event),but will open at 6 p.m.

Plan a visit and take photos in one of our featured decorated pumpkin houses or any of our other Instagramable spots. 

Our pumpkin prices vary with size.   Prices will be available on site.  

Remember:  We do not charge admission or for parking and most of the activities we offer are free.   Purchasing pumpkins is optional.  If you just want to visit the pumpkin patch and scarecrow trail, you can do that.  

Brownsville Parks and Recreation wants to provide a great experience to our visitors.  Proceeds from all pumpkin sold will go to support the Pumpkin Patch.  

Thanks to the  generosity of sponsors,  hundreds of pumpkins will be donated and available to you for purchase and enjoyment.  The Dean Porter Park Pumpkin Patch a festive tradition made
