Parks & Recreation

UPDATE MAY 24 2021

It is our joy and great pleasure to be able to safely reopen our programs to the public. It has been too long!

The Parks and Recreation Department is complying with all local, state, and federal safety measures for COVID-19 and has an approved reopening plan that can be found  HERE.

Each program has implemented sanitation protocols multiple times per day, social distancing, reduced capacity, and wearing of face masks is recommended on City Property except during certain athletic activity. We take the care of you and your loved ones very seriously and have put in place health screening measures and purchased long lasting anti-microbial products that continue to sanitize after the surface has been touched, as well as use of ozone machine for the indoor sanitation.

While vaccinations and COVID-19 testing are well under way, there still may be a chance more restrictive measures could resume - if so, as determined by the Public Health Department and the City Commission, rest assured any programs that are paid for WILL be refunded or transferred to a later date IF we had to pause a program, we anticipate this likelihood to be low, but as long as we can safely gather we will.

Remember, if you or your participant is unwell, or has symptoms or someone in the household is waiting for COVID-19 results - Please STAY HOME until well enough to rejoin!

We thank you for your understanding.
