Parking Tickets
Paying Parking Tickets
You have 10 calendar days to pay before the amount doubles (on regular traffic tickets).
Parking tickets are a civil offense and payment will not appear on your state driving record. You may pay in CASH or money order in person. You may also mail in ticket with the corresponding amount in a money order, within the first ten days.
Please note, we do not accept checks when paying for parking tickets.
Contesting Parking Tickets
If you wish to contest a parking ticket, you must appear on or before the appearance date listed on the ticket, within the first 10 days.
Disabled Parking Violations
If you received a ticket for parking in a disabled parking, please bring your placard and the corresponding valid ID/license with you within the first 10 days. Holders of a disabled placard or plate may be eligible for reduced fines or fees.
Parking Order Enforcement
Parking hearing orders may be enforced by the following:
- Vehicle impoundment (towing) if the subject vehicle is found on any public street, public right-of-way, public easement, or city-owned parking facility, or other public property, if the vehicle owner has committed 3 or more unpaid offenses in any calendar year
- Immobilization of the subject vehicle (booting) if found on any public right-of-way, easement, city owned parking facility or other public property
- Imposition up to double the fine amount after 10 days of non-payment
