Paseo de la Resaca Trail System

Paseo Signs-1
Opened in 2000, the trail system is surrounded by residential neighborhoods and is part of a 10,000-acre master planned community on the former Hudson Ranch. It consists of 128 acres of parkland, including marinas and amenities, 4.1 miles of resacas, 7 miles of paved hike and bike trails, and playgrounds.

The system is comprised of several sections:
  • Central Parkway
  • Texas Trail of Trees Park
  • North Park & Tennis Center
  • Brownsville Events Center
In 2006, the trails were connected to the 9-mile Historic Battlefield Trail, making it one of the finest trail systems in the State of Texas.
