Scheduling a Trip

Advance Notice


To schedule a trip using the ADA paratransit service, eligible passengers must call Brownsville Metro at 956-541-8381 to make a trip reservation between one to seven days in advance of travel.

Required Information


Passengers will be asked to provide the following information:
  • Passenger name and telephone number where the passenger may be reached
  • Companion or guest name traveling with the passenger, if applicable
  • The date of the requested pick-up
  • The time of requested pick-up
  • Address or name of the pick up location
  • Address or name of the destination

Return Trip


If a return trip will be scheduled, the passenger will be asked to provide a pick-up time and destination address for the return trip. Passengers may schedule as many trips as they wish during any one call, time permitting.

Passenger Tips


  • Make sure you are ready to travel at the time of your scheduled trip.
  • Passengers may be picked-up as early as 15 minutes before or as late as 15 minutes after their scheduled pick-up time.
  • Passengers will be required to begin their approach to the vehicle within five minutes of its arrival at the pick-up point.

Canceling a Reservation


If you need to cancel your reservation, please call at least one hour before the scheduled pick-up time to notify Brownsville Metro of your cancellation.
