Establishment Closure

Below is a list of why some facilities may be closed down (closure). Food facilities remain closed until the condition resulting in the closure has been corrected and verified by a Public Health Official. Conditions that would result in a facility closure include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Sewage contamination
  • Lack of potable water
  • No hot water
  • Unsafe food temperatures
  • Ill employees
  • Rodent/Insect infestation
  • Non compliance with Health Department rules and regulation
  • Any other condition that would prohibit the facility from operating in a safe manner
