The Office of the City Secretary issues Beer and Wine Permits

Beer & Wine Permits

Businesses are required to apply with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) (http://www.tabc.state.tx.us/)  for issuance of state permit. 

The completed application should be submitted to:

After a business obtains the TABC Permit for the Sale of Alcoholic Beverages and submits a City of Brownsville Application for a Certificate of Occupancy, the business should complete a City of Brownsville Application for Alcohol Sales and submit the required fee to the same address listed above.
