BROWNSVILLE, Texas (March 11, 2019) – Brownsville City Manager Noel Bernal announced Monday, March 11, 2019, that the City of Brownsville will enlist the services of executive recruitment firm Ralph Andersen & Associates to include external candidates into the recruitment process for a new police chief.
Former Brownsville Police Chief Orlando Rodriguez retired on August 7, 2018, after 36 years of service to the Brownsville Police Department.
“We are looking for a servant leader who can build strong relationships with our community, transform the culture and lead the Brownsville Police Department into the future,” said Brownsville City Manager Noel Bernal. “By utilizing this executive recruitment firm, we plan to attract highly- qualified applicants from across the state and country.”
