City Offices Closed in Observance of Cesar Chavez Day
BROWNSVILLE, Texas (March 26, 2019) – City of Brownsville administrative offices will be closed Monday, April 1, 2019, in observance of Cesar Chavez Day. Emergency police, fire and rescue services may be reached by calling 9-1-1.
546-HELP: Brownsville’s non-emergency hotline, 546-HELP (4357), will be closed Monday, April 1, 2019. Normal hours of operation will resume Tuesday, April 2, 2019.

Brownsville Animal Regulation & Care Center: The Brownsville Animal Regulation & Care Center (BARCC) will be closed to the public Monday, April 1, 2019. Normal hours of operation will resume Tuesday, April 2, 2019.

Public Works Department: Public Works Department offices will be closed Monday, April 1, 2019. Normal hours of operation will resume on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. The City of Brownsville Municipal Solid Waste Landfill will operate a normal schedule from 7 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and residential and commercial trash collection services will operate a normal schedule.
