Whether you're a regular or a first-timer on the trail, stop by to:
🚲 Go for a bike ride along either the Belden, Historic Battlefield or Southmost Nature trails! All rides/groups will end at Market Square, 1114 E. Adams Street, around 10 a.m. (Free bike rental will be offered, starting at 8 a.m., at Market Square! Bike renters will join the Belden Trail bike ride with City of Brownsville Commissioner Rose Gowen.)
🎨 Witness the unveiling of the Mariachis y Mariposas mural, by local artist Robert Mendoza, along the San Fernando Building in downtown Market Square at 10:30 a.m.! (Light refreshments will be provided.)
🎉Get to know Brownsville walking, biking and trail advocacy groups and learn more about the 428-mile Lower Rio Grande Valley Active Plan (Learn more: railstotrails.org/activeplan)
🍎 Browse Brownsville's Farmers Market, and enjoy fun and refreshments along the Historic Battlefield Trail— just a short distance from Market Square—after the mural unveiling!
