WHAT:
The City of Brownsville Public Health and Fire Departments in partnership with Valley Regional Medical Center, Valley Baptist Medical Center, and Superior Health Plan invite the community to attend the Brownsville Save-A-Life Hands-Only CPR to be held Saturday, June 1, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Brownville Sports Park, 1000 Sports Park Boulevard in Brownsville, Texas.
CPR – or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation – is an emergency lifesaving procedure performed when the heart stops beating. According to the American Heart Association, immediate CPR can double or triple chances of survival after cardiac arrest.
The Brownsville Save a Life Hands-Only CPR Class is free, open to the public and will provide important information on how to perform hands-only CPR techniques in the event of an emergency. For more information, please call, 546-HELP (4357).
