WHAT:
The City of Brownsville invites the public to attend a community input session to be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at the Mary A. Yturria Room inside the Historic Brownsville Museum at 641 E. Madison Street, Brownsville, Texas. The Technical Assistance to Brownfields team at Kansas State University will be leading the session in collaboration with the City of Brownsville, Environmental Protection Agency, and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to envision future uses of the former Union Pacific Railyard site located on Palm Boulevard.
A brownfield is a former industrial or commercial site where future use is affected by real or perceived environmental contamination.
