The City of Brownsville Fire Department introduces the Mobile Integrated Healthcare and Community Paramedicine (MIH/CP) Pilot Program at a press conference to be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at the Ringgold Civic Pavilion, 501 E. Ringgold Street, Brownsville, Texas.
The MIH/CP pilot program is an innovative project by the Brownsville Fire Department to better serve Brownsville residents identified as high emergency medical care utilizers, patients at-risk for hospital readmission and patients who call 9-1-1 for non-urgent medical issues.
The press conference will feature case studies to highlight the success of the program and seek opportunities for community partnerships.
