BROWNSVILLE (April 24, 2023) - For three Fridays of three months, the Fresco Mobile Market provided Brownsville city employees and others in the community the opportunity to purchase fresh produce close to home.

Sponsored by the Brownsville Public Health Department and the Employee Wellness Division, the Fresco Mobile Market set up shop in the parking lot of the Brownsville City Plaza on East Levee Street during the months of February, March and April selling fresh produce and other fresh goods.

Fresh produce such as kale, lettuce heads, spring mix, carrots, radish, broccoli, cilantro and beets were available for purchase to shoppers.

In addition, farm fresh eggs, honey, sourdough bread, jams, jellies, salsa and fresh juices were also for sell.
