Brownsville, TX (May 23, 2023) – City of Brownsville City Manager, Helen Ramirez, AICP, is proud to announce Police Chief Felix Sauceda has been named Assistant City Manager/Police Chief. Chief Sauceda assumes his new role effective immediately. Having served the City for more than 30 years, Chief Sauceda will take on a dual role both as Assistant City Manager and Police Chief.

Chief Sauceda will support the City Manager while assisting with the development and implementation of long-and-short-range strategic plans and initiatives. He will also lead operational departments and functional components within the City's overarching goals and objectives.
