It’s summer time and the City of Brownsville has plenty of activities to keep children busy during the summer months.

The city’s Parks and Recreation Department’s Mobile Recreation Unit will be making its way to area neighborhoods holding block parties providing entertainment for all. The event is free and all are welcome.

The city’s Public Library System also has a Summer Reading Program full of fun and adventure for the entire family. It’s a fun way to get the whole family to read.
