DISTRICT 2 COMMISSIONER LINDA C. MACIAS PLANS NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANUP FOR MCKENZIE ESTATES

Brownsville City Commissioner District 2 Linda C. Macias in collaboration with the City of Brownsville Public Health Department will hold a Neighborhood Cleanup at McKenzie Estates from 8 AM to 12 PM on Saturday, August 26, 2023.

Residents are encouraged to place their waste materials behind the curb or drop them off at the nearest roll-off containers.

Roll-off containers can be found at the following locations:

  • Clarissa Drive at Melissa Drive
  • Clarissa Drive at Lisa Drive
  • Clarissa Drive at Bryan Court

Items that will be accepted are grass clippings, brush such as leaves and twigs, mattresses, sofas, building materials, large appliances, and tires.

Items that will not be accepted are paint, oil, car batteries, car parts, brick/tile, hazardous waste, and household trash.

Residents who live within the area are asked to please secure their pets to avoid conflict.
