A collaboration between the City of Brownsville and the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health has been established to offer free exercise classes to the public at local parks, as it promotes a healthier and more active lifestyle for the community.
The name of the program is Your Health Matters/Tu Salud Cuenta program.
The free exercise classes are available Monday through Saturday, making it convenient for individuals with various schedules to participate.
The program offers a variety of exercise options, catering to different fitness levels and preferences. The inclusion of yoga, strength training and conditioning, boot camp, and cardio exercise ensures that participants have a well-rounded fitness experience.
The classes are held at various local parks in Brownsville, which encourages residents to enjoy the outdoors while improving their physical fitness.
