FLIGHTS DISRUPTIONS BEING REPORTED AT BROWNSVILLE-SOUTH PADRE INTERATIONAL AIRPORT

Airport

There has been a disruption in commercial flights at the Brownsville-South Padre Island International Airport due to an unknown reason.

Commercial flights at Brownsville-South Padre Island International Airport have been canceled on Monday afternoon. This cancellation is impacting not only flights to Brownsville but also those to McAllen International Airport and Valley International Airport.

Private aircraft operations are not affected by this glitch, and they are still able to fly in and out of the airport.

At this point, the cause of the glitch or disruption has not been identified. Airport administration at Brownsville-South Padre Island International Airport is actively communicating with the tower to obtain updates and resolve the issue.

The airport authorities plan to keep the Brownsville community informed as they receive more information. Passengers with scheduled flights are advised to stay in direct contact with their respective commercial airlines, as some flights may be rescheduled.

It's important for affected passengers to stay patient and informed while the airport works to resolve the issue and resume normal operations.
