BROWNSVILLE, Texas (December 19, 2016) – The City of Brownsville Parks and Recreation Department invites the community to stay active this holiday season by visiting the following gyms, as part of their free OPEN GYM program:

The open gyms will offer basketball, volleyball and dodgeball equipment on a first-come, first-served basis. All participants are required to sign-in. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
“The Brownsville Parks & Recreation Department is excited to provide our community with recreational opportunities during the holidays,” said Parks & Recreation Director Damaris McGlone. “We encourage residents to stay active while having fun at any one of our open gyms.”
