WHAT:            

Brownsville City Manager Charlie Cabler and Deputy MPO Director Alfonso Vallejo are set to participate as speakers at the 2017 International Trade Symposium, to be held from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Brownsville Event Center, 1 Events Center Blvd. in Brownsville.

The 2017 International Trade Symposium, hosted by the Brownsville Licensed U.S. Customs Brokers Association, in partnership with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection and local international stakeholders, will feature various presentations from participating entities regarding their five-year plans in relation to trade and growth – its purpose to encourage information sharing among stakeholders and advance management and allocation of current and future resources.
