BROWNSVILLE, Texas (October 6, 2016) – Brownsville.TV, the City of Brownsville’s public access television channel, received three awards at the 2016 Annual Texas Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (TATOA) Conference, held on September 19-22, 2016, in Austin, Texas.
Brownsville.TV was honored at the 2016 Annual TATOA Conference with: a second place award in the Magazine Program Series Category for its The Wrap! production; a third place award in the Community Event Coverage Category for its Santa at the Library 2016 production; and a third place award in the Overall Excellence in Programming Category.
The 2016 TATOA Conference, held in conjunction with the 2016 National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) Conference, featured speakers, storytelling workshops, tours, and technology information sessions.
