BROWNSVILLE, Texas (August 25, 2017) – The City of Brownsville Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will remain active at Level 3 – Increased Readiness, and may be activated at a higher level pending the track of the storm.
Portable pumps will remain deployed in areas historically prone to flooding.
Residential and commercial trash collection services will continue to operate a normal schedule.
Sandbagging Information:
Sand and bags distribution has concluded as of 4 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2017, with approximately 41,000 sandbags distributed to Brownsville residents in preparation for inclement weather.
Brownsville Metro & Metro Connect:
Brownsville Metro bus services will continue normal operations on Saturday, August 26, 2017.
