UPDATE: Hurricane Harvey Relief Donation Drop-Off

WHAT:                

The City of Brownsville is accepting  donations for Hurricane Harvey relief from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through  Friday, September 1, 2017, at the Brownsville Public Library System –  Main Library Branch, 2600 Central Boulevard in Brownsville.

 

The  City of Brownsville will continue to accept donations from 10 a.m. to 8  p.m. beginning Tuesday, September 5, 2017, through Friday, September 8,  2017, at the Main Library Branch, 2600 Central Boulevard in  Brownsville. 

 

Residents are encouraged to donate bottled water, non-perishable food items, diapers and toiletries.

 

“All City of Brownsville departments are  coming together to accept donations for communities across Texas  affected by the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey,” said  Brownsville City Manager Charlie Cabler. “We encourage residents to  support their fellow Texas communities by donating items, including  water, non-perishable foods and toiletries.”
