[ARCHIVED] Hurricane Harvey Donation Drop-Off Available at Main and Southmost Library Branches

City of Brownsville


WHAT: 

The City of Brownsville is accepting donations for Hurricane Harvey relief until 8 p.m. at the Main Library Branch and until 6 p.m. at the Southmost Library Branch on Friday, September 1, 2017.

The City of Brownsville will continue to accept donations from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Main Library Branch, and from 12 to 6 p.m. at the Southmost Library Branch beginning Tuesday, September 5, 2017, through Friday, September 8, 2017.

Residents are encouraged to donate bottled water, non-perishable food items, diapers and toiletries.

“All City of Brownsville departments are coming together to accept donations for communities across Texas affected by the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey,” said Brownsville City Manager Charlie Cabler. “We encourage residents to support their fellow Texas communities by donating items, including water, non-perishable foods and toiletries.”
