WHAT:
The City of Brownsville Public Health & Wellness Department invites the community to participate in the first Train the Trainer: Mosquito Service Request Workshop, to be held from 1 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017, at the Ringgold Civic Pavilion, 501 E. Ringgold Street in Brownsville.
This exclusive workshop is an opportunity to join efforts with the City of Brownsville Public Health Department, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Brownsville Public Utilities Board to combat mosquito-borne diseases such as the Zika virus.
The Train the Trainer: Mosquito Service Request Workshop will feature sessions on:
- Unveiling and demonstration of the Mosquito Service Request Website;
- City of Brownsville Health & Wellness Department Vector Control Informational Session; and
- Zika Virus Prevention.
