WHAT:
Brownsville Metro is set to kick-off Transit Customer Appreciation Week with a press conference at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 23, 2017, at the La Plaza at Brownsville Multimodal Terminal, 755 International Blvd. in Brownsville.
Community members and media partners are invited to attend to learn about activities and promotions to be held throughout the week of October 23-27, 2017.
The press conference will feature an unveiling of Brownsville Metro’s “B-There: B-Metro” marketing campaign, made possible with grant funding from the Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation (BCIC). In addition, the press conference will feature presentations from local partners supporting Transit Customer Appreciation Week: BCIC, Brownsville Wellness Coalition, Gladys Porter Zoo, Sunrise Mall and Workforce Solutions Cameron.
