BROWNSVILLE, Texas (October 23, 2017) – At a press conference held Monday, October 23, 2017, Brownsville Metro kicked-off Transit Customer Appreciation Week in partnership with the Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation, Gladys Porter Zoo, Sunrise Mall and Workforce Solutions Cameron.
Transit Customer Appreciation Week honors Brownsville Metro’s passengers, staff and bus drivers with a week-long celebration full of fun activities and events:

2nd Annual Fall Festival
“We’ll be concluding Transit Customer Appreciation Week with our 2nd Annual Fall Festival,” said Brownsville Metro Director Norma Zamora. “Last year, we had over 400 attendees, and we hope to have an even bigger turnout this year. We invite the entire community to join us, our partners and vendors for free games, food, a costume contest, and just plain fun! We hope to see everyone back here in La Plaza this Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.”
