Brownsville City Commissioner District 4 Ben Neece and Ozanam Center, Inc. officials invite the community to attend Inauguration Day for the Dining Hall of Ozanam Center, Inc. at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 2017, at Ozanam Center, Inc., 656 N. Minnesota Avenue in Brownsville.
Ozanam Center, Inc.’s newly-renovated dining hall will be inaugurated with a blessing from Bishop Daniel E. Flores, S.T.D.
“We are pleased to announce the completion of the new dining hall at the Ozanam Center and that the Bishop will honor us with his presence at the event,” said Brownsville City Commissioner District 4 Ben Neece.
“The Ozanam Center is blessed to provide meals and other important services to those in need in our community,” said Ozanam Center Executive Director Victor Maldonado. “On behalf of the Ozanam Center, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the foundations who provided their support for the funding of this new dining hall.”
The Bishop E. San Pedro Ozanam Center, Inc., established in 1995 as a nonprofit organization, provides a unique, holistic homeless services program, delivering emergency shelter, case management, a food pantry and homeless prevention services to the area’s most vulnerable residents: needy families; run-away youth; the elderly; and individuals experiencing substance abuse, mental illness or other special needs.
