WHAT:
Municipal Courts Week, a statewide awareness initiative, encourages communities across Texas to show appreciation for the dedicated municipal judges, court clerks, court administrators, prosecutors, bailiffs, and warrant officers who comprise Texas municipal courts.
In honor of Municipal Courts Week, Brownsville Municipal Court Presiding Judge Robert “Bobby” Lerma invites the community to attend Informational Workshops from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2017, through Thursday, November 9, 2017, at the Brownsville Municipal Court, 1034 E. Levee Street in Brownsville.
On Wednesday, November 8, 2017, the Informational Workshop will feature a Meet & Greet with Presiding Judge Robert “Bobby” Lerma. Workshops will provide information to the public regarding citations, warrants, and collection services. Residents are also encouraged to present questions and/or concerns. Light refreshments will be provided.
Additionally, on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, a proclamation honoring Municipal Courts Week will be presented to Presiding Judge Robert “Bobby” Lerma and Brownsville Municipal Court staff at the Brownsville City Commission Regular Meeting, to be held at 6 p.m. at Brownsville City Hall.
