Bi-National 10K & 5K Run Registration Now Open

Bi-National 10K and 5K Run Registration Now Open

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (January 22, 2018) – Registration for the Bi-National 10K & 5K Run is now open. The event, presented by the City of Brownsville and the City of Matamoros, will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018.

The Bi-National 10K & 5K Run, benefitting the TeletonUSA Foundation, will feature:

  • 5K Brownsville route – Run begins at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Main Building, One W. University Blvd. in Brownsville, Texas, and ends at the Gateway International Bridge
  • 10K Brownsville-Matamoros route – Run begins at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Main Building, One W. University Blvd. in Brownsville, Texas, and ends at the Presidencia Municipal, Calle Sexta entre González y Morelos S/N Zona Centro in Matamoros, Tamaulipas.
  • 5K Matamoros route – Run begins at the Gateway International Bridge and ends at the Presidencia Municipal in Matamoros, Calle Sexta entre González y Morelos S/N Zona Centro in Matamoros, Tamaulipas.

Individuals interested in participating may register online at: http://www.teletonusa.org/brun.

Entry fee is $10.00 for the 5K Brownsville route / 10K Brownsville-Matamoros route / 5K Matamoros route. All participants will receive a medal and t-shirt (sizes subject to availability).

The TeletonUSA Foundation is a non-profit organization based in San Antonio, Texas, raising funds to build and support the Children’s Rehabilitation Institute of TeletonUSA (CRIT), which assists children with neurological and musculoskeletal disorders such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spinal cord injuries, genetic disorders and amputations.
