WHAT:
The City of Brownsville, in partnership with the City of Matamoros, will host the Bi-National 10K & 5K Run Press Conference at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley – Main Building, One W. University Boulevard in Brownsville.
The Bi-National 10K & 5K Run, benefitting the TeletonUSA Foundation, will feature: a 10K Brownsville-Matamoros route; a 5K Brownsville route; and a 5K Matamoros route.
Individuals interested in participating may register online at: http://www.teletonusa.org/brun. Entry fee is $10.00 for all routes. All participants will receive a medal and t-shirt (sizes subject to availability).
The public is welcome to attend Thursday’s press conference and take advantage of on-site registration.
The TeletonUSA Foundation is a non-profit organization based in San Antonio, Texas, raising funds to build and support the Children’s Rehabilitation Institute of TeletonUSA (CRIT), which assists children with neurological and musculoskeletal disorders such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spinal cord injuries, genetic disorders and amputations.
