BROWNSVILLE, Texas (March 27, 2018) – City of Brownsville administrative offices will be closed on Friday, March 30, and Monday, April 2, 2018, in observance Good Friday and Cesar Chavez Day. Emergency police, fire and rescue services may be reached by calling 9-1-1.

546-HELP: Brownsville’s non-emergency hotline, 546-HELP (4357), will be closed Friday, March 30, and Monday, April 2, 2018. Normal hours of operation will resume on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.

Brownsville Metro fixed and paratransit routes will run their normal scheduled hours from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Metro Connect buses will run from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Good Friday.

Brownsville Public Library System: Main and Southmost Branch libraries will be closed Friday, March 30, Sunday, April 1, and Monday, April 2, 2018. Normal hours of operation continue on Saturday, March 31, 2018 and will resume on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.
