BROWNSVILLE, Texas (May 14, 2018) – Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport (BRO) officials announced today, that United Airlines will begin nonstop seasonal service from Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport (BRO) to Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) starting November 3, 2018.
Beginning today, travelers will be able to make United Airlines flight reservations for flights from November 2018 through March 2019 from Chicago O’Hare to Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport. Two-class service will be provided on the ERJ175, non-stop between Chicago O’Hare and BRO every Saturday. This is in addition to United’s current daily nonstop service to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).
“We are proud to expand our services to offer a United Airlines direct flight to Chicago O’Hare International Airport,” said Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport Director Bryant Walker. “These flights are an excellent addition to our services and will provide convenient travel for visitors from the Midwest including Snowbirds, Winter Texans and their families.”
