Washington Street, in Brownsville, Texas.

The Imagine the Possibilities Tour in Historic Downtown Brownsville will showcase available downtown properties as a way to engage potential investors, developers, entrepreneurs, residents, and anyone else who has imagined themselves running a business, owning a building, or living downtown.

Imagine the Possibilities Tours bring to life one of the Texas Historical Commission’s (THC) newest initiatives, DowntownTX.org. The website is a software application that is revolutionizing how downtown programs match potential investors and entrepreneurs with opportunities in Texas’ historic downtowns. On May 18, 2018, some of the properties featured on Brownsville’s DowntownTX.org portal will be open and accessible to the public, and tour attendees can obtain additional information on downtown development and business resources.
