WHAT:
The City of Brownsville’s Office of Grant Management and Community Development (OGMCD) in partnership with the Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation invite non-profit 501c3 organizations to the eCivis Grant Application Workshop to be held Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at 10:30 a.m., at the La Plaza at Brownsville Community Room, 755 International Boulevard, Brownsville, Texas.
The eCivis Grant Application Workshop will provide non-profit 501c3 organizations the opportunity to learn how they can apply to be one of 20 awardees to receive free access to eCivis for one year thanks to grant-funding provided by BCIC.
eCivis is a cloud-based tool used by state and local governments and school districts to search, apply, and manage grant funding.
"The City is excited to partner with BCIC to provide local non-profits the opportunity to receive grant researching licenses," said Office of Grant Management and Community Development Director Marina Zolezzi. “We encourage non-profit organizations to attend the workshop and learn about our department.”
“BCIC is a strong supporter of the eCivis grant portal and has financially funded it for the past few years,” said BCIC Director Rebeca Castillo. “As an organization, we strongly believe that it provides an opportunity for our non-profit organizations (501c3) to draw outside funding for projects and initiatives that enhance our city's competitiveness and promotes our local economy."
