546-HELP: Brownsville’s non-emergency hotline, 546-HELP (4357), will be closed Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Normal hours of operation will resume on Thursday, July 5, 2018.

Brownsville Metro & Metro Connect: Brownsville Metro administrative offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Brownsville Metro fixed and paratransit route services will not be available. Metro Connect Red and Green Line bus services will run from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Blue Line services will run from 5:20 a.m. – 7 p.m.

The City of Brownsville Municipal Solid Waste Landfill will operate a normal schedule from 7 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and residential and commercial trash collection services will operate a normal schedule.
