BROWNSVILLE, Texas (November 5, 2018) – The Brownsville City Manager’s Office has issued the following statement on behalf of the City of Brownsville regarding the migrant caravan:

“The City of Brownsville is in communication with U.S. Customs & Border Protection, Cameron County Office of Emergency Management and local Police, Fire, EMS and Health Officials to monitor the caravan. The City of Brownsville will maintain normal operations to provide a high quality of service to Brownsville residents.”
