Municipal Courts Week
BROWNSVILLE, Texas (November 4, 2016) – The City of Brownsville Municipal Court will celebrate “Municipal Courts Week” (MCW) beginning Monday, November 7, 2016, through Friday, November 11, 2016.
“Municipal Courts Week,” a statewide awareness initiative, encourages communities across Texas to show appreciation for the dedicated municipal judges, court clerks, court administrators, prosecutors, bailiffs, and warrant officers who comprise Texas municipal courts.
In honor of MCW, the City of Brownsville Municipal Court cordially invites the community to attend two informational workshops from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on:
• Tuesday, November 8, 2016; and
• Thursday, November 10, 2016.
Informational workshops will provide information to the public regarding citations, warrants, and collection services. Residents are also encouraged to present questions and/or concerns.
“Municipal Courts Week provides a wonderful opportunity – not only for residents to recognize and appreciate our dedicated municipal court staff,” said Brownsville Municipal Court Administrator Roberto Baez. “But to become better acquainted with the various services the Brownsville Municipal Court offers. We invite the entire community to join us for our two informational workshops to learn about what we do, and present any questions or concerns.”
