1. What do I need to place an ILL request?

You must have an active Library card and that is in good standing.

2. How much does it cost?

It's FREE.
If an item is lost or damaged, you are responsible for the replacement cost and processing fees.

3. What's my Username and Password?

- Your Username is all the numbers (411290***) on the back of your Library card.
- Your Password is the last four numbers of your Library card.

4. How long do I have to wait for my request?

Delivery usually takes one to two weeks.

5. How will I be notified when the Library receives my ILL?

We will contact you by phone or email.

6. How long do I have before I need to return an item?

The check-out period can run from two to four weeks.

7. Can ILLs be renewed?

A renewal request must be made a week BEFORE the due date;  Contact the Customer Service Desk 956-548-1055.

Renewals are determined by lending library and are not guaranteed for extension. 

8. Where do I return ILL materials?

ILL items must be returned  IN PERSON to the Customer Service Desk.
